Great place for a fishing experience. While nobody on the pier caught anything in the three hours we were there, you're guaranteed a parking spot and a relaxing time. Very great way to get around not needing a fishing license. You can conveniently also walk to the boardwalk.

Pretty cool we don't need a fishing license here and it's open 24 hours. But if you're walking on the pier there's a lot of rocks to the left side which snags your line a lot! Make sure to bring extra lures I had to cut my line four times. Is it not the most peaceful fishing spot because you can hear the screaming and the rides in the distance from the boardwalk. They do have cutting boards and it's well lit.

Nice friendly staff. Called about a thousand time preparing for our day trip and they were always super nice and informative. They have all sorts of bates, nets, fishing supply (including poles that you can rent or buy) $8 per person for 12 hours; kids under a certain height are free (both my 3 and 6 year old were free) THEY HAVE RESTROOMS ( two; one male, one female)
We did catch anything but other people did. With the pass you can leave and come back so we took advantage of that and didn't stay for 12 whole hours.
