Visited during a trip since indie bookstores are pretty sparse in this area. I was greeted by the owner upon arrival. She went into her pitch for her book and then mentioned something about a rape and murder (an unfortunate matter that happened to her family) then left us to shop. It was.. bizarre. We were left to look around. Shelves were very bare and a lot of the genres were like 5-7 books all facing out. Seemed like a waste of space and really reduced the fun of exploring. Books shelved were also not in the correct area. Mockingjay (third in a series, btw) was in science fiction and Emily Henry was shelved in YA. The collection overall felt like it could use more support.
We didn’t buy anything but left with a good story. The owner should be careful about approaching customers on sensitive subject matters though. I was fine but some topics might trigger others.

Lovely little indie shop. The owners are friendly, a husband and wife team. The wife is an author and has written a book about her whirlwind of a life, which you can purchase there. Great selection of books. It's a small shop but has character and a warm atmosphere. My sister and I really enjoyed browsing here and came away with some good finds. I especially loved their children's section and couldn't resist buying a few for my kids. One of their picks has turned out to be my daughter's favorite picture book!

The quaintest little bookstore with the biggest, friendliest presence! We were greeted by a very unique book signing and personalized tour of the shop. The owners’ recommendations were spot on! They really know their literature! If you are in Berlin, definitely stop in to check this gem out!
